- This week, we we're in two places at once. 📍 BlueFil was at FiltXPO in Minneapolis and at the Aquarama Trade Fair in Leuven. In Minneapolis, the conversations were about air, liquid and industrial filtration. In Leuven, they were about water technology and treatment. The vocabulary is different, but we keep coming back to the same few questions: where do droplets get carried over, what does the pressure drop look like, and how easy is the media to clean and drain? - We are currently in Mumbai. 📍 India Chem 2026 is underway at NESCO, and the BlueFil team is here for the exhibition and the conversations around it. We don't have a booth, but we're here with our local partners from SepMist Global Solution to meet the people running and building process plants in India. - Two events, one day, two continents. 🌍 On 29 October, BlueFil will be at both FiltXPO in Minneapolis and the Aquarama Trade Fair in Leuven. FiltXPO (28–29 October, Minneapolis Convention Center) brings together the filtration community around air, liquid, industrial and environmental filtration, with a two-day technical conference next to the exhibition. Aquarama (29 October, Brabanthal Leuven) is the Belgian trade fair and conference on water technology for industry and the water sector, with more than 150 exhibitors.
- Every carbon capture and hydrogen project has a mist elimination problem hiding somewhere in the flow sheet. Most flow sheets don't flag it until commissioning. Post-combustion capture columns, amine or chilled-ammonia based, need clean gas leaving the absorber. Carryover means solvent loss and downstream corrosion. Direct air capture units run the same separation challenge at a different scale. CO₂ compression and conditioning trains need liquid knocked out between stages before it damages compressors. - We're heading to Mumbai. 🇮🇳 BlueFil will attend India Chem 2026, the 14th Biennial International Exhibition & Conference, on 22–24 October at NESCO, Mumbai. Organised by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals and FICCI, it brings together the chemicals, petrochemicals, agrochemicals and process machinery community, with a Global CEOs Round Table and B2B matchmaking sessions alongside the exhibition. - We're currently in Abuja, Nigeria. 📍 Today and tomorrow the BlueFil team is attending the "Advancing Nigeria's Mining Economy Through Strategic Collaboration" fair at the Abuja Continental Hotel. We don't have a booth, so the easiest way to find us is to message us. One topic on our agenda these two days: urea granulation and cooling. Granulator and cooler exhaust carries urea dust, and granulator exhaust carries ammonia as well. Wet scrubbers wash these pollutants out of the air, but the liquid droplets can then be carried
