- On this #OneHealthDay, the ongoing Bundibugyo #Ebola outbreak in the DRC is a reminder of why outbreak response needs to look beyond human health data. Most emerging infectious diseases are zoonotic: pathogens circulate in animals before spilling over to humans. Data infrastructure for preparedness and response has to reflect those interactions.
