- We are looking for 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀. Specifically, we are looking for the ones who 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱. As part of STG EDGE with the University of Bologna, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗨𝗣 is leading a 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘂𝗺 — testing what a design skillset for the cultural and creative sectors should actually contain. 🛠️ Here is our worry. - This month we joined 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲. That deserves an explanation. Between 1 and 15 September, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗨𝗣 starts work in six 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 & 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 — short, focused consortia with a mandate to turn scattered expertise into something a policymaker can actually use. 💡 Where they take us: ✔ 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 — with Neogames Finland, on Europe's most successful creative export and least understood

That was the 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯 on 29 July, and having now taken it apart to understand why it worked, we are bringing it back — as a 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁, co-hosted by CollectiveUP and Impact Hub Network. 🤝 🗓️ 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿. - The 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 in European project management is a Memorandum of Understanding. It is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁. It obliges nobody to spend a euro. You could tear one up on a Tuesday and face no consequence on Wednesday. 🇪🇺 We have just counted 𝟮𝟰 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, signed across Europe under DIGISET, between social enterprises and technology providers who in almost every case had 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 somebody put them in the same room. 🤝 Some are 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆
- 𝗔𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗠𝗘𝘀 — 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆. This week, we published our 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀+ 𝟯.𝟬 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 — exploring what happens when a person with a disability spends a day inside an ordinary workplace, observing the work and being seen doing it. 🤝 The finding that surprised us least, and matters most: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿. So here is the
- In Belgium, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟯% of people severely limited in their daily activities are at work. 📊 The gap between disabled and non-disabled employment here is 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟯 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 — among the widest in the European Union. 💡 Now hold that next to another Belgian statistic: 𝟵𝟵.𝟵% 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗠𝗘𝘀. Which means the disability employment gap 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 with dedicated diversity departments. It will be
