Overview
CropFit is a smartphone application designed to enable farmers to sell their produce to wider markets with ease. The platform provides farmers access to data on weather, market prices, plant protection, native seeds, logistics services, and agricultural advisory services. The app aims to create marketing opportunities for farmers and business opportunities for traders and other agriculture stakeholders.

- Metiris, a spin-off from Ghent University, has officially been selected for the prestigious Start it Accelerate | @KBC! The venture bridges cutting-edge research from the Laboratory of Applied Mycology and Phenomics under Prof. Kris Audenaert and high-resolution remote sensing groups under Prof. Wouter Maes. Led by founder Dr. Louis Daniels, the team's trajectory to incorporation has been supported by UGent business development consortia CropFit and BIOREFINED.
