- The setup: Sony IMX420 — a 7.1MP global shutter sensor with SLVS-EC output — running 3218×2200 at 120fps. That’s 849 MPix/s. The customer needs GMSL3 between the camera and a Jetson AGX Orin. GMSL3 pixel clock limit around 600 MPix/s. 849 > 600. No direct connection is possible. The answer: compression inside our SLVS-EC to MIPI bridge FPGA.
