Using Elsyca PCB Solution, they built a 3D digital twin of their vertical copper plating line and used it not just to predict copper thickness, but to diagnose what was driving its variation. By modelling three equipment parameters that design drawings miss, they closed the gap between simulation

- A pipeline passes every CP survey, with potentials on target and the coating looking sound, yet a few months later the operator is excavating a leak. The cause is often AC corrosion. Where pipelines share corridors with power lines or electrified railways, induced AC current escapes through tiny coating defects. And the cathodic protection meant to safeguard the pipe can make things worse: excessive CP raises the pH at the defect, lowers the spread resistance, and lets even more AC current discharge. That’s the story we’re

For Belgian and Dutch asset owners, that turns CP design into a multi-disciplinary problem: ⚡𝗔𝗖 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Pipelines parallel to HV lines pick up induced voltages. At coating defects, AC current densities above 30 A/m² (ISO 18086) can cause corrosion even when the -850 mV CSE criterion is met. 🚆 𝗗𝗖 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Rail return

And some days are about who can take the hairpin turn without spinning out. Recently, the team traded keyboards for helmets and headed to the karting track. - A cab that passes the smoke test in the workshop can still leak on the road. Seven teams are racing to replace the British Armys Land Rover. All of them start from a proven commercial platform. The hard part is making the crew cab hold positive pressure so every breath goes through the CBRN filter. A tiny gap defeats that. Sealing gets checked on a static vehicle. In service, the hull flexes over rough ground and the seals open up. Thats why HAH Software, Cadence and Elsyca built this white paper. MSC Nastran predicts how the
- Who will replace the British Army's Land Rover? Seven teams are reported to be through to the next round of the British Army's Light Mobility Vehicle programme. LionStrike, Grenadier, Babcock and Supacat, Ford with GDLS UK and Ricardo, Team Wolf, JLR and Iturri are now in the race to replace the Land Rover. That's about £2bn and potentially more than 9,500 vehicles. Every bid starts from a proven commercial platform. The hard part is everything that turns it into a military vehicle. One part that gets less attention is the
