The platform collects data from accounting, HR, CRM and ERP systems, structures and enriches it, and turns it into dashboards, with more than 250 connectors to other systems. Its features cover management and intercompany consolidation, operational reporting, cash flow monitoring, forecasting and budget comparison, analytics reporting with cost accounting, drilldown to source data, and an embedded analytics offer that places the suite inside a third party product. Hugues Vandepeutte founded the company in 2015 after holding a CFO role for over twenty years. It opened offices in Ghent and Paris in 2018, entered the United Kingdom in 2019, and entered South Africa in December 2025 through a partnership with GreatSoft. EMAsphere raised 4.5 million euro in October 2018, 2.5 million euro in July 2020 from Sambrinvest and the Luxembourg fund Dedicated alongside its existing shareholders, and 5.7 million euro in January 2022 from Whitestone, Sambrinvest and Dedicated. At the time of the 2022 round it had 60 staff across Louvain-la-Neuve, Ghent and Paris. The two founders ran the company together until 2021 and Hugues Vandepeutte alone until the end of October 2023, when he handed the CEO role to Bart Baute, previously COO, and stayed on the management committee. The company states it has over 10,000 customers.
