- Our student project is now live in the OnTracx app! OnTracx measures the load of every single running step with a sensor. Speed, distance, hills, surface, and cadence all play a role, but their impact differs from runner to runner. So how do you figure out what drives the load for each runner? That’s the question one of our Everest teams took on. Over 8 weeks, they worked out how to build a personal load model for every runner. - What a great way to start the semester! Last week, we kicked off the first semester at the element61 office! We started with a series of presentations: first an introduction to Everest Analytics, followed by our projects (Dierenasiel Gent, EveryCarbon, Reef Support, and Mentoring Belgium) and our partners (Easi, element61, Crunch Analytics, and Möbius Business Redesign). - Tectonic is more than a conference. It's also home to Belgium's biggest hackathon, with two rounds across seven cities. 🛠️ In the first round, young builders across Belgium got four hours to team up, work on a real case (presented by KBC Bank & Verzekering & SD Worx Belgium), and ship. We were proud to host the Ghent first round (organised by Everest Analytics). ⚡ We're builders at heart, so having a room full of that energy, those laptops and that ambition in our studio felt like home. On 30 September, Everest Analytics had the pleasure of hosting the Ghent round of the Tectonic Hackathon at the amazing offices of In The Pocket.
