Overview
Globis Software builds one logistics platform that combines ERP, transport management, warehouse management and execution apps for terminals, freight forwarders, carriers and shippers running complex international flows. The platform is modular across six areas, business portals, forwarding, warehouse and terminal, transport, contract and billing, and integration, and runs contracting, quoting, planning, execution and invoicing on a single data model, so customers can implement it step by step rather than replacing every system at once. The company started in 1995 as an ERP solution for the flexible packaging industry, widened to manufacturing, trading and logistics in 2010, and launched Globis 10 on Java technology in 2013 with its first international rollout. A full logistics package with WMS and TMS functionality followed in 2016, and in 2020 the product moved to a cloud-based SaaS platform focused on intermodal logistics. Headquarters is at Industrielaan 27 in Erembodegem, Aalst, with a second office in Utrecht. The team counts over 40 supply chain consultants and software developers. Karel Van den Berghe is founder and CEO, and Robrecht Van Melckebeke is CTO. Named customers include PSA Antwerp, PSA Zeebrugge, Ewals Cargo Care, Neovia Logistics, Aertssen, Colruyt Group, ArcelorMittal Logistics and i+ Solutions. PSA Zeebrugge selected the platform in June 2026 as the second PSA entity to do so. The company is ISO 27001 certified.
