Overview
Mathieu Vinken is a senior full professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and visiting professor at the University of São Paulo. His research focuses on experimental hepatology, in vitro toxicology, and mechanistic modelling of liver toxicity. He is author of more than 280 peer-reviewed publications and editor-in-chief of Toxicology and NAM Journal.

- A warm welcome to our new HEPx colleague Dr. Zeineb Marzougui. 🏵Zeineb has been awarded a MSCA IRIS COFUND postdoctoral fellowship and will perform her research activities under supervision of Prof. Mathieu Vinken and Prof. Esteban Gurzov at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université libre de Bruxelles, respectively. 🔬Her project will focus on the hepatotoxic risk assessment of environmental contaminants exposure during chemotherapy.
