- Welcome to ICS - Innovative Coating Solutions, Loris C.! Loris is no stranger to Innovative Coating Solutions ! His journey is closely connected to our team. He completed his Master’s thesis in Physics at Université de Namur under the supervision of Emile HAYE, Dr. Eng, before pursuing a PhD under the joint supervision of Emile Haye and Stéphane Lucas. - How do you know a coating simulation is right? You check it against something it had no part in. In coating development, a simulation error doesn’t stay on the screen. It ends up as a wasted run on the coater. So for ConstelCoat, we ran a systematic validation of every physical model in the software: optics, colour, thermal, electrical and mechanical. → about 2,000 checks in 53 test cases → 0 failures on the models → most results agree with the reference to 10⁻⁹ or better The references are deliberately independent: standard
