iFLUX

Overview

Founded in 2017 and spun out of VITO, iFLUX develops real-time groundwater monitoring systems for environmental management, contamination tracking, and geotechnical applications. The company's sensor technology and data platform enable continuous subsurface water monitoring at sites where manual sampling is impractical or insufficient.

Groundwater monitoring is a critical need in Belgium's densely industrialized regions, where legacy contamination from historic industry, combined with increasing flood and drought pressures from climate change, creates strong demand for continuous environmental intelligence.

As a VITO spinoff, iFLUX draws on the research center's deep expertise in environmental science and energy systems.
