- This week VITO is hosting the 30-Month Consortium Meeting of the Horizon Europe project Fuels-C in Mol, Belgium. The three-day meeting brings together project partners to review progress across the different work packages, covering fuel production technologies for road and marine transport, fuel-cell testing, sustainability assessments, dissemination, and project management activities. - Ionect made it into the newspaper! Great to see our #eKeroBel project featured in Le Soir’s article “Voyager avec du kérosène vert”, exploring our ambition to produce synthetic aviation fuel from renewable electricity, water and captured CO₂ in Charleroi. As engineers and project developers, we see how much it takes to turn an innovative technology into an operating facility. Beyond the engineering, it means bringing together technology partners, securing renewable energy, finding offtakers and building a financeable project.

- We're proud to be featured in the "Belgian Clean Hydrogen" publication by the Belgian Foreign Trade Agency (BFTA), alongside many of the companies helping shape Belgium's hydrogen ecosystem. As the hydrogen sector matures, success will increasingly depend on turning promising technologies into technically robust, economically viable and bankable projects.
