Overview
IONWAY is a dedicated battery materials producer created through a partnership between PowerCo (Volkswagen's in-house battery factory) and Umicore (circular materials technology company). The company aims to become an industry leader with an annual production capacity of 160 GWh by 2030, powering 2.2 million cars, and to be PowerCo's preferred supplier of battery materials.
