- Does it still have a place for junior devs? Do companies still offer opportunities to juniors? It feels like we've reached a point where the corporate world has given up on juniors, and I find that sincerely sad. If there are still companies out there looking for juniors, keep going. You're the ones still giving hope to a whole new generation that can't wait to work and prove their worth.
- Companies want perfect junior developers but refuse to properly evaluate them. They post a job, receive 100 CVs, assess as best they can, and hope for the best. It doesn't work. So they say juniors are bad. Too risky. They don't want to hire them anymore. But a junior who isn't quite ready yet is normal. They don't always realise it themselves, they are juniors. The real problem is hiring them without taking the time to understand where they actually stand.
