- Just back from Japan! After two months of preparation and exchanges with Mizutani-san from Takenaka Corporation, our partner Takehiko Kato and I visited several of their offices across the country. Our goal was not to bring European BIM practices as they are, but to understand how Japanese and European cultures can benefit from each other. Pretty much anything that involves solving a tricky problem: automation, AI, R&D, technical challenges with clients at trade shows… and, on the side, teaching BIM and AI at ULB. The little auto-select magic wand 🪄 in Kabandy? That’s Alexis. And he's not done; he’s working on teaching our
- Found this in our archives. A few months ago, at #BIMWorldParis, we ran into Nicolas SAOUAS 💡 (Economiste de la construction - BIM teacher) and asked him a simple question: how would you convince a skeptic to go digital in 10 seconds? His answer fits in one sentence: at first, everything was done on paper. Then the tools evolved. #BIM is simply the logical next step. Nothing to add. (Shot a few months ago, still just as true.)
