Overview
Sapian is Kantify's universal AI engine that overcomes traditional structure-based drug discovery limitations by leveraging hundreds of millions of datapoints to find IP-clean chemistry for challenging therapeutic targets. The platform has been validated across multiple target categories including ion channels, antigens, and ubiquitin-like proteins, and can screen 13 billion compounds in under a day.

- There can be a world of difference between an in silico prediction and experimental validation. That’s why we’ve put Sapian's ability to generalize to the test, across different target classes, both in vitro and in vivo, with promising results so far, from human health to crop science. And the experiments keep coming. Hear more from Diana in this video or read about our validations here: https://lnkd.in/e7gGpt-h #DrugDiscovery #AIinPharma #Biotech
- To quote Mark Murcko, ""Structure is beauty, but not always truth". What if alternative, non structure-based drug discovery approaches could step in, when structural approaches fail? Discover what is one of the multiple differences of our AI platform Sapian, as explained by Diana Sarkees. ✅ Sapian, Kantify's AI platform, has had multiple in vitro /vivo validations with several labs in Europe and US. ✅ Including for previously unliganded targets. ✅ Check our pipeline page, see for yourself, and 📧 Get in touch.
- Structure-based approaches need the right 3D structure in drug discovery. Sapian doesn't. It takes a different approach by simply not relying on structure at all. See more in this video with our colleague Diana Sarkees! #DrugDiscovery #AIinPharma #MolecularDocking
- For the last day of Sarcoma Awareness Month, we'd like to shed light on the work done by a foundation in our home country Belgium: KickCancer, with the remarkable mission to cure every child with cancer. They are soon holding the now famous "Run to Kick" in September. Support them if you can by running, walking or more. 🏃➡️ https://lnkd.in/e_RR4qFQ?
- Rare neuromuscular diseases often lack treatments because developing targeted drugs is slow, costly and risky for companies. A new approach using AI and stem cell models (iPSCs) could finally shift the balance: DREAMS Project https://lnkd.in/gauPiHti
- Congratulations to Professor Guillaume Canaud (INSERM/Necker), whose work has led to the European Medicines Agency granting marketing authorization for alpelisib in CLOVES syndrome. CLOVES is a rare overgrowth disorder caused by somatic PIK3CA mutations. Alpelisib, a PI3Kα inhibitor, directly targets the underlying molecular driver - an example of precision medicine reaching an ultra-rare indication. We are immensely proud to count Professor Canaud among our partners for other research projects. https://lnkd.in/ewQZ47Nu
- Sovereignty should not be considered as a feature, but rather as a foundation. In AI-based drug discovery, who controls your data, your models, and your outputs matters more than ever. See our CEO Segolene Martin break it down in this video. 👇 #AISovereignty #DrugDiscovery #AIinPharma
