- We're proud to announce that Ecospill Ltd and LOXXER have entered a new partnership, giving Ecospill's UK health & safety distribution partners access to a specialist range for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. UK fire services attended 1,760 lithium-ion battery related fires in 2025, a 147% increase since 2022. - Every city has batteries. Not every city has a plan. Green services, technical departments and municipal depots are increasingly working with electric tools, e-bikes and electric vehicles. At the end of the day, the lithium-ion batteries are often stored unsafely, in a standard storeroom with no fire protection. - VDMA 24994: the standard your insurer expects. In the chemical and pharmaceutical sector, VDMA 24994 is not optional.
