Exitas en Monin bundelen hun krachten en gaan samen verder als STEADION. 💪 Vorige week was het dus hoog tijd om onze nieuwe collega’s ook bij Fieldside welkom te heten. En dat mocht best wat feestelijker. - What does the start of a new chapter look like? Last week, it looked like colleagues getting together over drinks and homemade pizza. 🍕🥂 Exitas and Monin joined forces this spring. This was our first afterwork as STEADION, giving our new colleagues a chance to meet more people at Fieldside. - Last Thursday our office turned into a film set. DBmarlin, our long-standing partner regarding Database Performance Monitoring, came over to interview some of our Database Experts. - Your DBA is going on holiday. Your database environment is not! Every DBA knows that switching on the out-of-office reply is the easy part. The tricky part is making sure nothing decides to happen while you're away. A quick check before leaving can save you a lot of stress later: ✔ Will backups complete successfully while I'm away? ✔ Is there enough disk space and tablespace to get through the holiday period? ✔ Is there anything I'd rather fix today than troubleshoot from a beach next week? ✔ Will the right people get alerted
