Monizze is a Belgian fintech that issues digital meal vouchers, eco-vouchers, gift vouchers and sport and culture vouchers, and builds flexible remuneration tools for private and public employers. The company was founded in 2011 by Jean-Louis Van Houwe, who remains CEO, and its first client was Colruyt. It is part of the Up group. The legal entity is Monizze SA, based at Rue de l'Hôpital 31 in Brussels. Monizze serves 95,000+ client companies, 800,000+ active users and 45,000+ partner merchants. Named clients include KBC, KU Leuven, Colruyt, Sioen, HelloFresh, Agoria, UCM and Delaware. The product range covers a cafeteria plan, a mobility budget, the RewardPilot compensation tool, Bizzness Gift, a solidarity voucher launched with Better in November 2025, and Monizze Pay, an NFC smartphone payment feature launched in July 2026 that works independently of Apple Pay and Google Pay. Vouchers have been bundled on a single card since 2016. In May 2024 the company introduced Alix, an AI assistant for SMEs with compensation questions. Revenue grew 37% in 2021 and reached about EUR 20 million in 2022. The company employs 51-200 people. In March 2025 Monizze acquired Offr, a Brussels compensation and benefits SaaS start-up. In September 2025 it signed a five-year partnership with Federgon. Monizze holds an EcoVadis Gold label with a 2025 score of 82/100, is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, and was named Belgian fintech company of 2021 by Data News.
