- New reference case: Westfalen AG, Germany At a Westfalen Group plant in Germany that bottles industrial gases, the production team was heavily reliant on manual forklift logistics to 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 around the site. This transport was necessary, but not always efficient, tying up valuable time and resources that could be better used for production and quality-related tasks. - 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐬 usually pull in opposite directions. Reach further up and you need a bigger machine. Make the machine smaller and you lose the height. Atlas doesn't force that trade-off. It's a compact counterbalance forklift, about 3.3 by 1.35 metres, that still places pallets up to 6.8m high with the optional high-reach mast. Positioning accuracy sits within a centimetre, which matters more than it sounds once you're stacking at height near racking you'd rather not clip. It
- 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲, wrapped in a thin layer of shrink film, wobble more than you'd expect. 😉 That was the real obstacle for McBride when they set out to automate internal transport. Not the will to do it, the material. An AGV can't safely lift something that shifts as it moves. The fix wasn't a smarter robot, it was switching from trays to boxes first. - A 𝟑𝟎-𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐥 doesn't leave much room for error. At Aperam, those coils sit on steel sleeves that can weigh 2.6 tonnes on their own, and they need to move between production lines that share space with forklifts, people, and a schedule that changes more often than anyone would like. There's no fenced-off lane for the AGV here. It works inside the same chaos as everyone else. That's the job our Titan Heavy handles. - A pallet made from recycled waste film. Does it survive AGV operations? 🏭 Yibo Su, CEO of European Circular Logistic Packaging B.V., brought one to our facility and put it straight on our #Taurus #AGV.
