- Exact Online has a native Power BI connector. It requires an Exact Online Premium subscription. For scheduled refresh, you also need an always-on machine running the on-premises data gateway, with ODBC Driver 18 installed and the IP address whitelisted in Exact Online. Without that setup, the alternative is exporting data from Exact Online to Excel and loading it into Power BI by hand, every month. - Two pipelines scheduled for 9am both start at 9am. Neither waits for the other. That is fine until one depends on the other. A transformation that needs its source data to have landed. A report that needs the CRM sync to be complete. Staggering the start times does not solve it. Nothing enforces the order. Scheduling controls when a pipeline starts. - If you run incremental pipelines, you've hit this: one table syncs wrong, and you want to reload just that table - not the whole connection. Here's why re-running the pipeline doesn't fix it. An incremental pipeline keeps a bookmark - a marker of where it stopped last time. Every run picks up from there and only pulls new and changed records. So running it again doesn't reload your table.
