Overview

POM automates the invoice-to-cash process for organisations: creating and distributing invoices, collecting payments through QR codes and payment links, and following up on unpaid invoices. The platform is sold as three product lines, POM Invoice, POM Payment and POM Collect, and integrates with the Bancontact Pay app. POM serves more than 3,200 customers and handles more than 1.8 million payment transactions per month. The company was co-founded by Johannes Vermeire and Tom Totté. It signed its first partner agreement with Group Joos in 2015 and joined the Start it @KBC accelerator the same year. In 2016 it won the FinTech Belgium pitch battle and launched the POM app. In 2018 it raised €830K from Be Angels and BAN Vlaanderen and received a Horizon 2020 subsidy. In 2019 its QR codes appeared on traffic fines from FOD Justitie. In 2022 POM merged with Mail to Pay, which was rebranded as POM in the Netherlands and Germany in 2024. In 2025 POM acquired FarPay in Denmark. The company has offices in Antwerp, Alblasserdam and Düsseldorf and holds ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 Type 2 certifications. POM entered the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in 2022 in 26th place and ranked 21st in 2025 with 490% growth, its fourth consecutive listing. It was listed in the FT1000 in 2024 and won the Digital Finance Award in 2026 for its work with Bancontact Pay and itsme.
