- Nobody has the AI-native playbook yet. So we're writing it together. Last night, the AI-First Engineering Community, organized by TechWolf and ML6, got together at BeCentral in Brussels for its second edition. One question, three levels: where does the human stay in the loop, on the loop, or out of it? Niels Lowie (TechWolf) showed a team where Specto builds full features overnight. Christophe Geudens (Prismos) showed a startup where every engineer runs agents in their own cloud environment. Both landed on the same pattern: simple

- Last night I spoke at BeCentral, at the second AI First Engineering meetup, on how our software engineering workflow at Prismos has changed over the last two years. - Planning comes first. Projects, tasks and their dependencies are mapped out before an agent touches the code (we use Linear, and have no plans whatsoever to change that). Each task is kept small, so humans reviewing generated code don't start rubber-stamping. - Our engineers manage projects end-to-end, from writing specs to steering agents and reviewing code. We don't
- Last week I had the honor of curating the content for the FinTech session during the Flanders Technology & Innovation Festival, organised by the amazing team at GLUON BXL. A special thanks to all the speakers Claire Munck (BeAngels), Stijn (Stan) Christiaens (Collibra), Aline Muylaert (Go Vocal), Michael V. (Monizze), Quentin Colmant (Qover), Muriel Bernard (BeCentral), Pepijn Mores (Prismos), Charles Van den Bogaert (iBanFirst), Louis Vanheurck de Tornaco (dups), minister Laurent Hublet (Government of the Brussels-Capital Region),
- From AI Act to AI Advantage: what we brought to the FEBEG AI event. The AI Act's high-risk obligations are slipping to somewhere between December 2027 and August 2028. For energy companies, that is not a reason to wait. On 16 October, we co-organised FEBEG's event on AI in the energy sector, bringing together Belgium's electricity and gas companies. Our Principal Consultant Francesco Cilurzo opened with a twist on Hemingway: is the best way to find out if you can trust an AI simply to trust it? In energy, the stakes behind that

With 22 speakers from across finance, technology, government and entrepreneurship, we’ll explore what it takes to strengthen Brussels as a hub for innovation, from the ambition and infrastructure behind a thriving FinTech ecosystem to
- Three talks, one evening, 28 October in Brussels. Here's who's on stage for the AI-first engineering community event: ▪️ Niels Lowie (TechWolf) on what Specto builds overnight, and what still breaks. ▪️ Georges Lorré (ML6) on Unum, the execution layer that carries enterprise workflows through to done. ▪️ Christophe Geudens (Prismos) on two years of agentic coding, and what it did to code review. Co-hosted by TechWolf and ML6, with Wintercircus Ghent as ecosystem partner. Three talks, a walking dinner, and drinks. Come compare
