Prothya Biosolutions was formed in 2021 through the integration of Plasma Industries Belgium (with roots in the Belgian Red Cross) and Sanquin Plasma Products (a former subsidiary of the Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation). The company uses advanced methods to isolate proteins from blood plasma and turn them into plasma-derived medicinal products, offering over 60 years of combined experience in plasma collection and production.
