(RADX) GPU hardware, running a spectrum analyser at 5 GB/s, gapless, with 1.25 GHz of spectrum from a NI (National Instruments) PXIe-5840 analysed inline. That is what you build when the data rate is the requirement. The other is a laptop with an ordinary GPU, running the LabVIEW IDE for three days straight. Probes on data that never left the GPU. Wire colour and thickness behaving the way LabVIEW wires always have. Types resolving at edit time, before you run anything. You develop on the second one. You deploy on the first. The GPU code does not change between them. All LabVIEW, either way. No custom CUDA kernels, no C, no separate build chain. Block diagrams open all week and you are welcome to read them.
