Overview
Founded in 2020 in Nivelles, Wallonia, Quantoom Biosciences is developing technology for the large-scale, cost-efficient production of mRNA and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation for pharmaceutical applications. The company's platform addresses manufacturing bottlenecks that constrained mRNA medicine scale-up during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Quantoom targets the growing pipeline of mRNA-based medicines beyond vaccines, including oncology, rare diseases, and protein replacement therapies. As the mRNA field expands beyond emergency use, efficient and GMP-compliant manufacturing infrastructure becomes critical. The Nivelles location in Wallonia connects the company to the region's biotech cluster, which includes Univercells and Ziphius Vaccines.

- We've just installed the very first Ntensify® midi flex, at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. It's a system we're particularly proud of, because it covers a range that usually takes two different set-ups: from 20 mL to 800 mL per batch.
