Overview
Resulation is on a mission to collect and recycle mineral wool, specifically glass wool, into an infinitely reusable raw material without quality loss. The company holds ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and operates through a three-step process: retrieve waste mineral wool from deconstruction sites, recycle it, and reintegrate it into construction projects.

Today, Marc Bosmans, Group Sustainability Director at Knauf Insulation, will be speaking at the #BrusselsSustainabilitySummit panel “Circular Economy Act: From Policy Ambition to Real Impact” by Brussels Sustainability Club. Topic on the table: the upcoming EU #CircularEconomyAct. This piece of legislation aims to create a single market for recycled materials, boost their supply and demand, and reduce Europe's dependence on virgin raw materials.

- We couldn’t have said it better, Marc Bosmans! As long as landfilling recyclable building materials remains cheaper than recycling them, circularity will struggle to scale. Making the #CircularEconomy the norm requires not only technology, but also industrial commitment, political ambition and a supportive regulatory framework. Resulation reflects Knauf’s commitment to making glass mineral wool circular. But industry investment alone will not be enough. The technology and infrastructure are ready. Now legislation must catch up.

- Meet Aline Degand, Process Engineer in the hot-end area at the Knauf Insulation plant in Visé, Belgium. For the past three years, she has been working at the heart of the production process, and today she also plays an important role in connecting the work of Resulation with the Visé plant.
