Sagility was founded in 2008 in Ghent by Ben Mahy and Wim Hellinck, who took the roles of CEO and CTO. The company sold virtual automation for control software testing, with services covering simulation, system emulation and the testing of control software. In April 2018 all activities of Sagility and iSencia Belgium were placed in a new company, SupportSquare, which sells the Passerelle platform for immersive training, guidance on wearables and remote visual assistance.
