Overview
Sourse, the commercial brand of Stratos Solution BV (founded 2 May 2016), operates from the Temploux aerodrome near Namur. The company was launched by Benjamin de Broqueville and Olivier de Spoelberch, who together also lead the Namur aerodrome and the German motorglider manufacturer Stemme. From summer 2022 onwards, Julien Losseau took over operational leadership as CEO, while Benjamin de Broqueville moved to a chairman role on the Sourse board.
Sourse positions itself in the aerial surveillance and earth observation space. Its flagship software, Horizon, applies artificial intelligence to imagery captured from light aircraft to flag anomalies on linear critical infrastructure. Anomalies are geolocated and transmitted in near real-time to infrastructure operators. The primary market is the operators of European pipelines, with secondary applications across road and rail networks. The team counts around 20 people and is active in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
In January 2025, Sourse closed a 3.65 million EUR round with Namur Invest and Ethias Ventures joining as new investors alongside historical shareholders. In April 2026, Sourse announced an additional 2 million EUR top-up from the same historical investors to accelerate the commercial deployment of Horizon. The company was profiled in L'Echo on 27 April 2026 as a Walloon scale-up positioning itself as a "guardian of European pipelines".
