The Data Tank works with people, organisations and institutions around the world to unlock data's potential by gathering, accessing, and reusing it responsibly. The organisation operates a Data Stewardship Program, offers courses, and runs a Social License Lab focused on data, AI and emerging technologies governance and business models for data reuse.

- Interesting find 👀 We spotted The Data Tank's definition of data stewardship showing up as a reference point in Intertidal Agency's new Ocean Data Stewardship Lesson part of an open curriculum they've built on ocean data stewardship (it's a great resource, check it out: https://lnkd.in/gP_emHC4). It's a good reminder that the field and actors are still figuring out shared language for what "data stewardship" actually means, and we're happy our work is part of that conversation.
