- Germany has made Authorised Representation mandatory for affected foreign producers under its Packaging EPR rules. Since 12 August 2026, businesses established outside Germany, with no German branch, that supply empty packaging or packaged products directly to end users in Germany must appoint a Germany-based Authorised Representative (AR). - France’s e-invoicing reform starts tomorrow. Is your business ready? From 1 September 2026, all in-scope businesses in France must be able to receive electronic invoices, while large and medium-sized businesses will also begin mandatory e-invoicing and e-reporting.
