Launched in 2025, VinylPlus Healthcare unites the European PVC industry's sustainability efforts in healthcare. The organization brings together activities focused on medical device recycling and pharmaceutical blister recycling, with peer-reviewed studies confirming the feasibility of dissolution-based recycling for PVC pharmaceutical blister packaging and flexible medical PVC recyclable multiple times without significant quality loss.

- VinylPlus Healthcare Attends Nordic Dialogue Forum on Environmental Sustainability in Healthcare Held on 30 September 2026, the forum brought together Nordic healthcare procurement organisations, suppliers, industry associations and sustainability experts. The meeting also marked the launch of a Nordic Joint Statement on Sustainable and Ethical Healthcare Procurement, intended as a basis for closer cooperation between Nordic healthcare procurement organisations and greater alignment of sustainability and ethical requirements.
