Overview
XEOS created the AURA 10, the first PET-CT specimen imager designed for use in the operating room. The device combines PET imaging sensitivity with submillimeter spatial resolution to assist surgeons and imaging specialists in specimen imaging during surgical oncology procedures such as breast conserving surgery.

- Dr. Lise-Marie ROUSSEL was in the XXIII World Congress of Otorhinolaryngology, where she presented her preliminary results on implementing the AURA 10 for Head & Neck cancer in the operating room of Centre Henri-Becquerel: "Using this novel tool could significantly improve the precision of surgical procedures, thereby enhancing intraoperative accuracy." Dr. Luna Maris successfully defended her PhD yesterday, researching how deep learning and micro-PET-CT imaging can give surgeons better information during Breast-Conserving Surgery, right when it matters most.
