Swave Photonics secured EUR 43M in its Series B, one of the largest deep tech funding rounds in Belgium in 2024. The Leuven-based company, emerging from the imec ecosystem, is developing holographic display technology with applications in AR and consumer electronics.
The scale of the raise reflects both the capital intensity of deep tech hardware and the strong investor interest in next-generation display technologies.
