Overview
SFPIM (Societe Federale de Participations et d'Investissement / Federale Participatiemaatschappij) is the Belgian federal government's investment arm, based in Brussels. The company holds and manages strategic participations on behalf of the Belgian state in companies operating across sectors including energy, finance, infrastructure, and industry.
SFPIM invests where public interest or national economic importance is a consideration, alongside or in place of private capital.
