Overview
Ahmet Caliskan is CEO and owner of Makhina Robotics, a role he took up in February 2026. Since September 2024 he has also been CEO and owner of Enerwiseai and of Yapay Zeka Ajansı, and he has been CEO of İstanbul Cezeri Müzesi since January 2017. He has led TEKHNELOGOS since 2002, first as general manager and owner until January 2021 and as CEO and owner alongside that.
He was a visiting scholar at George Mason University from August 2010 to June 2011 and again from November 2021 to June 2022.
Caliskan studied mechanical engineering at Istanbul Technical University, graduating in 1995, and returned there in 2022 for a master's degree in the same field. He holds a master's degree in political history and international relations from Marmara University, completed in 2000, and a doctorate in the history and philosophy of science and technology from the same university, completed in 2013. He also completed a doctorate in international relations at Istanbul Medeniyet University in June 2024.
