Overview
An Steegen holds a PhD in Material Science and Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven and built her career across IBM Semiconductor R&D in New York, imec (where she was EVP of Semiconductor Technology and Systems), and Umicore (where she served as CTO). She joined Barco in September 2021 as co-CEO alongside Charles Beauduin, then assumed the sole CEO role in 2024.
