Overview
Angelo Santoro is the founder and chief executive of energis, a company he started in June 2017 and which he leads from Brussels. Before that he founded Freemind Consulting in September 2002 and served as its chief executive until October 2022.
From July 1992 to August 2002 he was deputy director of the BE Network Management Unit at Nokia Bell Labs Antwerp. Earlier he worked at Sistema, where he managed a software development team from February 1990 to June 1992 and worked as a software engineer between 1990 and 1995.
Santoro studied computer science at the Università degli Studi di Salerno from 1983 to 1989 and completed a Master of Computer Applications in computer software engineering there in 1990. At the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management he took an Executive Master in Management in business administration in 1996 and 1997, followed by an executive programme in real estate in 2003 and 2004.
