Overview
Anne-Claire Vanfleteren is the co-founder and chief executive of Commuty, which she co-founded in January 2015. She is based in Brussels.
Before Commuty, she worked as an independent business developer consultant at D&V Consult from July 2013 to January 2015, having previously been business development manager at Djengo between September 2012 and July 2013. From April 2010 to September 2012 she was managing director of Kigali Farms Ltd. Earlier, she was a project manager at the Wallonia Foreign Trade and Investment Agency (AWEX) from September 2009 to February 2010, and she completed an internship at D&V Consult Ltd. in the autumn of 2008.
She studied commercial engineering at Ichec Brussels Management School from 2003 to 2008, graduating with a master's degree with a finance specialisation, and spent 2005 to 2006 on an Erasmus exchange programme in economics at Universidad CEU San Pablo. In 2009 she took AWEX training in international trade techniques.
