Overview
Bert De Haes co-founded Nobi in 2018 alongside Roeland Pelgrims and Stijn Verrept. Nobi's AI-powered smart light mounts to the ceiling and uses optical sensors and on-device AI to detect falls and alert caregivers in real time. The company raised EUR 13M in a Series A in 2022 and EUR 35M in an oversubscribed Series B in January 2025, bringing total funding to over EUR 48M.
