Bieke Van Gorp co-founded FibriCheck in 2014 alongside Lars Grieten and Jo Van Der Auwera. FibriCheck (operating as Qompium BV) developed a medical-grade smartphone app using photoplethysmography to detect cardiac arrhythmias.
