Overview
Brice Pineau is chief executive of HYRacing, a role he has held since June 2021. He is based in Paris.
From September 1989 to September 2020 he ran Harvest Groupe, and between September 2020 and December 2021 he served as adviser to its chief executive. Before that he founded BMC ltd and managed it from September 1987 to September 1989, having worked in commercial IT at Sorefi Ile de France from September 1985. He began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, joining on a fixed-term contract in May 1981 and later taking charge of office automation there from October 1983 to September 1985, with military service in the Marine Nationale from September 1982 to October 1983. Earlier he worked as a counter clerk at Crédit Lyonnais during the summers of 1976 and 1978.
Pineau studied at ESSEC Business School from 1980 to 1982, after a maîtrise in econometrics at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and a licence in economics at the Faculté de sciences économiques in Nantes.
