Overview
Bruno Onkelinx is Chief Operating Officer of Nyxoah, based in Mont-Saint-Guibert. He joined the company in May 2021 as Chief Technology Officer, a role he continues to hold, and took up the operating officer position in August 2024.
Before Nyxoah he spent more than thirteen years at Cochlear, from October 2006 to May 2021, working in medical devices and serving as General Manager from October 2015 and as Director Operations Incubation from January 2020. He began his career in the automotive sector, at Ford Motor Company from August 1996 to April 1998 and then at Tenneco until October 2006.
Onkelinx studied engineering at Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg and at KU Leuven, where he also completed a postgraduate qualification in business economics, followed by a postgraduate in project management at EHSAL Management School. He later took courses in lean manufacturing at Amelior, sommellerie at Syntra, operational excellence at the MIT Sloan School of Management and team leadership at Columbia Business School.
