Overview
Didier Murena is a co-founder of insurnode, a role he has held since December 2021, and is based in Brussels. He also co-founded SWINZ in January 2021, has been a special proxy holder at Private Insurer since June 2020, and has owned MuBru since November 2019.
He joined AXA in January 2010 as programme manager for IT and business transformation, then headed non-life projects delivery from January 2013 and led P&C strategic transformation in 2014. In parallel he was a non-executive director of Ets. De Smet from 2013 to 2017 and a teaching assistant in management control at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management from 2012 to 2015.
Earlier, Murena was a principal advisor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers Advisory Financial Services from 2007 to 2010, a consultant at Unisys, a junior financial control officer at Europ Assistance, and an assistant at Deloitte ERS in 2004. He was a board member and owner of Anim'Ice SA from 2005 to 2009.
He studied at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, taking a Master in Science of Management with a major in tax and control, and spent 2003 at HEC Lausanne.
