Overview
We help staffing agencies place more people without burning out their team.
Blue-collar isn't being replaced by AI. The people who work with their hands are becoming more valuable, not less. But the way agencies reach them hasn't kept up. Frontline candidates don't sit at desks or check their email. They're on their phone, approached by three agencies at once, and the slowest one loses. Ringtime is the AI screening agent that closes that gap.
The moment a candidate matches a vacancy in your ATS, we reach them on phone and WhatsApp, in their language, at the right time. We run the screening conversation and book a meeting with your consultant. Everything lands back in your ATS, ready to use.
What makes Ringtime different: • Built for frontline reality: phone and WhatsApp, outside office hours, 22+ European languages, real conversations instead of forms. • Plugs into Bullhorn, Connexys, Carerix and BrightStaffing. No migration, live in weeks. • Built for Europe, GDPR compliant by default.
Waiting two days to follow up on a candidate isn't more human. It's just slower.

- You should take a selfie." That’s what they all said. So we finally took pictures for our team page on the website. Same style for everyone, with a funky hover effect. Apparently startups still do this. 😉 But the pictures were not the point of that webpage. I wanted a place to share why we spend all this time building Ringtime. It comes down to three things. 1. We build for frontline workers. People who don’t sit behind a desk. They work in our stores and factories. They clean our offices before we walk in. They deliver the
- We know what you did last summer. And for how long. 🆕 in Ringtime: Deep Screening. Customers kept asking us for one thing: go deeper when an answer is vague. Now our agents do, on the questions that matter most. Every screening hears them: “15 years.” “Quite a while.” “PLC.” “Maybe.” Answers that sound complete but ... tell you nothing. Deep Screening hears the gap and asks what a good recruiter would: Where was that? How long exactly? What did you do with it? How would you get there? Happy Halloween 👻
- I hate getting voice notes. So we built them into Ringtime. I get it. Talking is easier than typing a short, clear message. But I’m no AI. I can’t skim three minutes of audio for the one line I need. Well... Ringtime can. Now, frontline candidates can answer a Ringtime screening on WhatsApp with a voice note. Phone flat in front of the mouth, the way my daughters do it. After a long shift, nobody wants to type out five years of warehouse experience. So they say it. Ringtime listens, files the answer in the candidate record and asks
- The only feedback that matters is results. A sales trainer told me that a few months ago. It sounded salesy. Now I realise it is true. So here are Exxtra's, four months in. 25% of completed screenings happen after five. 23% at the weekend. 9% before nine in the morning. 42 working hours won back in the first three months. Exxtra finds care assistants for older people and people with a disability. Every applicant used to get a call from a regional manager. Monday to Friday, half past eight to five. Now ELLA texts within 15 minutes
- More than half of Exxtra’s completed screenings now happen when their office is closed. Exxtra finds care assistants for older people and people with a disability. Candidate assistants sign up in the evening and at the weekend. Since June, ELLA sends every new applicant a text within 15 minutes. About 15 minutes later she calls and runs the full registration in Dutch. 25% of completed screenings now happen after five. 23% at the weekend. 9% before nine in the morning. In the first three months, the team won back 42 working hours.
- The scarcest things in our phase are two-fold: time and customer feedback. I mine both obsessively. Yesterday we ran a workshop with Logi-technic Lies, Fredriek and Karel from their side. Charlotte and Joy from ours. Looking back, but mainly looking forward. How can Ringtime support their workflow even more? What adjacent problems do we discover? And how can we close the loop, from finding blue-collar workers at scale to actually getting them ready for their first day? Inspiring and difficult at the same time. Holding
- From one day to the next, a virtual assistant joins your daily workflow. Don’t underestimate how fucking scary that is. Yesterday Joy Saey and I went to Match to onboard their team face to face. We make sure the technical side is fixed: logging in, installing the extension and getting it to work. But what really matters is that everyone tries Ringtime themselves, plays around with it and discovers how candidates experience their brand from now on. Together we discover how Ringtime becomes a logical step in their process. That’s why
- If you think a blue-collar candidate deserves an answer within minutes, I’d value your vote. We made the shortlist of the Recruitment Tech Awards 2026, in the Best Tool category. Ringtime creates the job ad automatically. Then it screens candidates by phone and WhatsApp and books the first interview. Click the link in the comments and vote for us if you like what we do.
