Emna Everard founded Kazidomi in 2016, at the age of 23, and is its chief executive officer. Kazidomi is a Brussels online shop for organic and natural food, supplements, cosmetics and household products, sold through an annual membership that gives discounts across the range. The membership card cost 100 euros a year in 2020. Alain Etienne, her partner in life and work, is co-founder and chief operating officer and joined full time in 2018. In December 2020 the company raised 6 million euros from IFJ and FJ Labs, its fourth round since 2016 after two rounds of about 1 million euros each. Kazidomi bought the French subscription retailer Smartfooding and its baby food shop Graine de bonne santé in July 2022, then Bébé au Naturel in January 2023, a deal that doubled the group in size. Delhaize began selling a selection of Kazidomi products in six stores and online in January 2023. By July 2023 the company employed 70 people and had about 50,000 customers. Everard and Etienne also founded Pulse Protein, a plant-based protein brand launched in 2024.
