Erik Lesire is the CEO and co-founder of ticketmatic, a role he has held since January 2007. He is based in Heverlee.

Earlier in his career, he was CEO of Lesire Software Engineering from 1997 to 2003, and worked as a consultant at Compex between 1997 and 1998. He began his professional career as a software engineer at Mentor Graphics from 1989 to 1991.

Lesire studied at KU Leuven, where he completed a master's degree in maths between 1983 and 1988 and a master's in cultural studies in 1990.

Marktverstoring. De Vlaamse overheid schrijft dat zij onze stelling dat de markt verstoord is “geenszins kan bijtreden”. Dat blijft moeilijk te begrijpen wanneer een publiek gefinancierde organisatie zelf één commercieel product verkoopt aan cultuurhuizen die in belangrijke mate afhankelijk zijn van publieke middelen.
