Overview
Before NextSDS, Hoste worked at companies including Franz, SmartWithFood, Spiromatic, and the Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij. He brought that mix of product, software, and environmental data experience into NextSDS when the company started in 2024.
At NextSDS, Hoste co-leads the product and platform that turns dense Safety Data Sheets into structured information for EHS, compliance, and operations teams that handle chemicals.

Spreken voor een publiek ligt me niet van nature, en toch ben ik blij dat ik de stap gezet heb. - TFA staat zowat elk Vlaams nieuwsbericht over drinkwater. Maar voor preventieadviseurs zit het echte nieuws ergens anders. Op 10 juni nam het Comité voor risicobeoordeling (RAC) van ECHA zijn opinie aan om TFA oftewel trifluoroacetic acid (CAS 76-05-1) strenger in te delen. Het dossier werd ingediend door Duitsland. De kern voor wie met welzijn op het werk bezig is: TFA krijgt een indeling als Repr. 1B. Daarmee schuift de stof door naar het CMR-regime.
