Overview
Lieven Decorte is Chief Technology Officer at brighteye, a role he took up in February 2026. He founded the company in 2003 and has served as its product manager since then, adding the position of Co-CEO in January 2023. He is based in Roeselare.
Before brighteye, Decorte was CTO at Brains in Motion from January 2000 to September 2004. From February 1992 to December 2000 he was a manager at Vanwalleghem Automation, and he began his career as an engineer at Soenen controls, where he worked from September 1986 to January 1992.
He attended VTI Roeselare from 1980 to 1983. His stated areas of expertise are MES consultancy, digital manufacturing, process optimisation in manufacturing, software development and warehouse management systems.
